About Us

Honoring Heritage, Sharing Hope

Across many tribes, the eagle feather is a sacred symbol of Truth. At Two Feathers Ministries, we carry that symbolism into our core mission. Established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are dedicated to sharing the ultimate Truth—the Gospel of Jesus Christ—with indigenous communities, honoring heritage while offering eternal hope.

2026

Since 2007, Rick and Deborah Kesecker have been driven by a singular mission: to share the transformative hope of Christ with Native American communities. What originated as a local church initiative has matured into Two Feathers Ministries, a non-profit dedicated to bridging the gap between the local church and North American reservations.

Our approach is rooted in the belief that true impact requires more than just a visit; it requires a consistent, culturally honoring presence. By mobilizing dedicated teams, we facilitate high-energy Bible camps, discipleship training, and vital outreach programs designed to meet both spiritual and practical needs.

Our Journey

From Corporate to Calling

Early Career

Foundation in Leadership

With degrees in Management and Finance, Rick and Deborah spent years navigating the dynamics of Fortune 100 firms. These professional skills in strategic planning and team dynamics proved vital when they were asked to build the missions program at Double Oak Community Church (DOCC) from the ground up.

Backpacks to Yakama

After a mission trip to the Yakama Indian Reservation, the Keseckers launched a Christmas campaign to provide children with gift-filled backpacks. This initiative blossomed into a legacy of service — to date, 6,375 backpacks have been delivered to children in Washington, New Mexico, and Mississippi.

Choctaw Backpack Expansion

The Backpacks & Bears program continues its growth, now reaching the children of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. This milestone allows us to place tangible expressions of God’s love—in the form of special gifts and toys—directly into the hands of more children, bridging the gap between a simple smile and spiritual encouragement.

Choctaw VBS & Youth-Led Ministry

McKinley Indian Mission youth leaders reached a major milestone in ministry training this year. After gaining hands-on experience facilitating VBS for the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, they took the reins to lead a successful VBS within their own community on the Yakama Reservation, demonstrating the transformative power of peer-to-peer discipleship.
