Providing backpacks filled with school supplies and teddy bears to children on the reservations.
The Backpack & Bears initiative is a collaboration between Two Feathers Ministries, individuals, faith-based organizations and corporations who care enough to make certain that children living on reservations receive Christmas gifts when there is no other hope.
Making an Impact Through Simple Acts of Kindness
Through our Vacation Bible School programs, we are able to meet many children and families who are in great need. We do all we can to show the love of Christ to these children and their families. It never ceases to amaze us that such an impact can be made in the life of a child by such a simple act of kindness.
How You Can Help
Your participation in this program assures that a Native American child living on a poverty stricken reservation will receive a gift this Christmas. By providing children (ages newborn to 15) with a backpack, the local church has an opportunity to share the hope-filled message of Christmas with families in an effort to break the cycle of dependence and despair.
